Jeju City will raise the upper age limit for special medical checkup support for women farmers from 70 to 80 starting next year.
Accordingly, the annual number of eligible recipients will increase from 845 to 1,180.
Beneficiaries pay only 20,000 won out of the total fee of 220,000 won and can receive examinations for five major health risks common with farmers, including musculoskeletal disorders, fracture risk, and cardiovascular diseases.
