Jeju’s cruise tourism is entering a major growth phase, with 800,000 visitors expected this year.

According to Jeju Province, a total of 348 cruise calls are scheduled, including 137 at Jeju Port and 211 at Gangjeong(강정) Port.

This marks a seven-fold increase in just three years, approximately 50,000 more visitors than last year’s 750,000.

Jeju attributes the growth to stronger marketing and improved capacity, including automated immigration gates and a digital berth-allocation system.

3년 만에 7배 급증했습니다.

제주도는 크루즈 관광 성장세의 배경으로
유치 마케팅과 함께
무인 자동심사대 도입과
선석 배정 디지털 전환 등
수용 태세를 강화했기 때문으로 분석하고 있습니다.
