A former Nohyeong Police substation, owned by the Jeju Tourism Organization, has been sold after sitting idle for more than a decade.

Industry sources say the land was sold to a private company, and the title transfer was completed last year.

The sale, made through a private contract, is reported to be around 6.5 billion won?similar to the appraised value.

The tourism organization purchased the roughly 400-square-meter site in 2012 for 1.4 billion won for new projects. But the plans repeatedly fell through, leaving the site idle.

지난해 등기이전 절차가 마무리된 것으로 전해졌습니다.

수의계약을 통한 매각금액은
감정가액과 비슷한 65억 원 수준으로
알려졌습니다.

관광공사는 신사업 추진을 위해
지난 2012년 해당 부지 400여 제곱미터를
14억 원을 주고 매입한 이후 다양한 사업을 구상했지만
잇따라 무산됐습니다.
