The hiring process for the Director of the Jeju Youth Center is again under scrutiny, identifying issues to be addressed.

The Jeju Audit Committee released the results of a comprehensive audit of the Jeju Institute for Economic and Trade Promotion.

The candidate submitted eight career entries, but six lacked the required National Health Insurance Certificate although they were originally accepted as valid.

The hiring process had also drawn controversy. Eligibility requirements were eased, raising questions about whether the process was designed to favor a specific candidate.

제주특별자치도경제통상진흥원을 대상으로 추진한 종합 감사 결과 가운데
청년센터 센터장의 경우
제출한 8건의 경력 사항 가운데 2건을 제외한 나머지 6건이
건강보험자격득실 확인서를 제출하지 않았는데도 경력이 인정돼
적격 처리됐다고 지적했습니다.

한편, 해당 센터장이 채용될 당시
응시 자격이 완화돼
특정인을 채용하려는 것이 아니냐는 논란이 있었습니다.
