With the local currency ‘Tamnaneunjeon’(탐나는전) reward rates raised to a record 20 percent this month, Jeju expects the measure to stimulate spending.

According to an analysis by the Province of Tamnaneunjeon card usage from the 1st to the 18th of this month, total issuance reached 63.8 billion won, while spending amounted to 57.1 billion won.

Compared to the period when a 10% reward rate was applied, the daily average issuance increased by 2.35 billion won, and the daily average spending rose by 1.93 billion won.

By sector, restaurants accounted for the largest share at 27%, followed by retail businesses at 24%, and academies and educational institutions at 15%.

지난 1일부터 18일까지 탐나는전 카드 이용 실적을 분석한 결과
발행액은 638억 원,
사용액은 571억 원으로 집계됐습니다.

적립률 10% 적용 시기와 비교하면
하루 평균 발행액은 23억 5천만 원,
하루 평균 사용액은 19억 3천만 원 늘었습니다.

업종별로는 음식점이 27%로 가장 많았고
판매업 24.%,
학원이나 교육기관 15% 순서로 나타났습니다.
