The 71st Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on June 6 at the Memorial Plaza of the Jeju National Cemetery.

Held under the theme "Their Wishes, Brushing Past Our Today," the ceremony will begin with a nationwide moment of silence at 10 a.m. Commemorative plaques will then be presented to distinguished contributors and bereaved families.

Heavy traffic is expected around the cemetery that day. Route 240, which stops at the cemetery between Jeju Bus Terminal and the Convention Center, will increase its services from 10 to 18 daily runs.

'그들의 바람, 오늘의 우리를 스치다'를 주제로 열리는 올해 추념식은
오전 10시 전국에 울리는 묵념 사이렌에 맞춘
순국 선열과 호국영령에 대한 묵념으로 시작으로
유공자와 유가족에 대한 감사패가 전달됩니다.

행사 당일 호국원 일대 교통 혼잡이 예상됨에 따라 제주버스터미널에서 제주국제컨벤션센터를 잇는 호국원 경유 240번 버스가
기존 10회에서 18회로 확대 운행됩니다.
