Voice phishing losses and fatal traffic accidents have declined in Jeju.

According to the Jeju Provincial Police Agency, 67 voice phishing cases were reported in Jeju through April this year. That marks a 48.5 percent decrease from the same period last year.

Financial losses also fell by 32.7 percent, dropping from 4.3 billion won to 2.9 billion won.

Fatal traffic accidents also decreased. As of April, the number of traffic deaths was down 20 percent from a year earlier. Notably, no fatal motorcycle accidents were reported during the period.

교통사망사고가 줄어든 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주경찰청에 따르면
올해 4월까지 제주에서 발생한
보이스피싱 발생 건수는 67건으로,
지난해 같은 기간보다 48.5% 감소했고,

피해액도
기존 43억 원에서 29억 원으로
지난해보다 32.7% 줄었습니다.

교통사망사고 역시
올들어 4월 기준 지난해 보다 20% 줄었고,

이륜차 사망사고는
단 한 건도 발생하지 않았습니다.
