Jeju Province will carry out a comprehensive inspection of bottled drinking water production and distribution.

The move comes as unseasonably hot weather has driven a sharp rise in consumption.

Inspection targets include manufacturers such as Jeju Development Corporation, Korea Airports Corporation, and Hallasan (한라산), as well as around 15 bottled water products currently being distributed in the market.

Officials will examine sanitation management throughout the entire production process, from water intake facilities to manufacturing lines.

In addition, raw water samples and products will be collected directly from sites. They will then be sent to the Institute of Health and Environment for water quality testing.

전 공정의 위생 관리실태를 중점적으로 살핍니다.

또 먹는샘물 원수와
시중 유통 제품을 현장에서 직접 수거해
보건환경연구원에 수질검사를 의뢰해 기준 적합 여부를 검증합니다.
