The Navy Fleet Mobility Command is conducting survival swimming education for elementary school students in Seogwipo.

First launched in 2024, the program was the nation's first to incorporate the expertise of Navy sea divers. Last year, it expanded to include a collaboration with Haenyeo women divers, and is now in its third consecutive year.

This year, the program widened its reach beyond the 60 students from Gangjeong(강정), Dosun(도순), and Beopwan(법환) Elementary Schools. Students with special education needs and their guardians were also included, all receiving hands-on survival training from Navy divers.
