Jeju Province is establishing a dedicated five-billion-won fund to support the growth of locally based businesses. Applications from fund managers are being accepted through the 15th.

Jeju Province will contribute one billion won, with the remainder raised through the government's mother fund. Fund formation is set to be completed by September.

Unlike conventional venture investment, the fund will focus on short-term corporate projects, rapidly investing and recovering capital rather than through listings or mergers and acquisitions.

The province will link the fund with its existing local business growth support framework to maximize policy synergy.

50억 원 규모의 전용 펀드를 조성하기로 하고
오는 15일까지
펀드 운용사를 모집합니다.

제주도가 10억 원을 출자하고
정부 모태펀드와 연계해
총 50억 원 이상 규모로 조성되며
오는 9월까지 펀드 결성을 마무리합니다.

기존 벤처투자처럼 상장이나 인수합병 방식이 아니라 기업의 단기 프로젝트에
필요한 자금을 신속히 투자하고 회수하는 방식으로 운영됩니다.

자금 공급과 운용사 관리에만 그치지 않고
이미 추진중인
로컬기업 성장 지원체계와 연계해
정책 시너지를 극대화한다는 방침입니다.
