Seogwipo City is providing prevention supplies to 20 building construction sites through the end of this month to protect workers from heat-related illnesses during heat waves.

Through this support, items needed for heat wave response, including ice boxes, cooling sleeves, and hard hat shades, will be distributed to each site in stages.

Along with the supplies, Seogwipo City is guiding site officials to thoroughly follow the five basic heat wave safety rules. These include providing sufficient water and rest and adjusting work schedules during the hottest hours.
