Crackdown on illegal parking at Soesokkak Beach
Violations rampant in summer

Provincial police are cracking down on illegal parking at (쇠소깍) Soesokkak Beach.

Police say violations surge during the summer time.

They are increasing patrols and posting no-parking banners around the area. Violators will either be fined or have their vehicles towed.

The (하효) Hahyo community council is in talks with the city of Seogwipo on plans to build additional parking near the port.

자치경찰단, 쇠소깍 불법주정차 집중단속

제주도자치경찰단이 주차난으로 몸살을 앓고 있는 쇠소깍 주변에 대해 불법주정차를 일제 단속에 나섭니다.

제주도자치경찰단에 따르면 서귀포 쇠소깍은 휴가시즌을 맞아 방문객이 급증하면서 불법 주정차로 인한 극심한 교통정체가 빚어지고 있습니다.

이에따라 자치경찰단은 순찰을 강화해 불법 주정차량은 즉시 단속과 견인조치하고 이면도로 주차 금지 현수막도 설치할 예정입니다.

아울러 마을회는 쇠소깍 인근 하효항에 주차장을 추가 확보하는 방안을 서귀포시와 협의할 계획입니다.
