More administrative lawsuits filed against Jeju City

More people are filing administrative lawsuits against Jeju City, with suits in the construction sector leading the way.

City officials say 41 suits were filed against it this year through the end of July. Thirteen of those cases have been closed, and the remaining 28 are pending in court.

17 of the cases are related to urban construction, eight involve taxation, and another eight revolve around social welfare.

The city will publish categorized casebooks in an attempt to both prevent unnecessary lawsuits from being filed in the future and boost the reliability of administrative measures.

행정처분에 불복해 제주시를 상대로 제기하는 행정소송은 건축분야가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주시에 따르면 지난달까지 접수된 행정소송은 41건으로 이 가운데 13건은 종결됐고 나머지 28건은 계류중입니다.

분야별로는 도시건축분야가 17건으로 가장 많고 세무분야 8건, 사회복지분야가 8건으로 뒤를 이었습니다.

제주시는 유형별 행정소송 사례집을 발간해 소송으로 이어지는 사례가 줄어들도록
행정처분의 신뢰도를 높이기로 했습니다.
