Interest rate cut on loans from FTA fund
Expected to save farmers \1.1b per year

The interest rate on loans for farmers is being lowered.

According to the provincial government, the fixed interest rate on loans from the FTA fund will go from three percent to 2.5 percent.

If a farmer chooses an adjustable rate policy, the current interest rate is down to 1.8 percent.

Provincial officials project this will save local farmers 1.1 billion won a year in interest payments.

농민들의 경제적 부담을 덜기 위해 농업정책자금 금리가 인하됩니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면, FTA 기금 지원사업 융자 금리가 기존 고정금리 3%에서 2.5%로 인하됩니다.

변동금리를 선택하는 경우에는 최대 1.8%까지 금리를 낮출 수 있습니다.

제주도는 이번 금리 인하조치로 연간 11억 원의 이자부담이 줄어들 것으로 기대하고 있습니다.
