‘Condo prices in Jeju Science Park to be examined in depth’
Provincial officials respond to rumors that units are ‘overpriced’

There’s been a lot of talk recently that prices for new condos going up in the Jeju Science Park might be inflated, but the provincial government says it has not yet received a price list for the units for the developer.

Provincial officials say that when that information is turned in, they will examine the prices in depth and try to adjust them if they are deemed to be unreasonable.

Officials have made it clear that the complex is built on relatively cheap land that used to be public. Therefore, standard price caps will be applied.

They added that that they will examine in detail the costs for bedrock clearing, work to prevent sinking and collapse, and the materials and equipment being used that are designed to make the structures eco-friendly.

첨단과학기술단지 내 대규모 아파트의 분양가에 대한 논란이 커지는 가운데 제주도가 현재까지 분양가 심의 신청은 없었다며 접수될 경우 적정 가격으로 결정될 수 있도록 심사하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 논란이 되고 있는 아파트의 경우 공공부분에서 분양한 택지인 만큼 분양가 상한제를 적용받게 된다며 분양가심의위원회를 통해 지하 암반공사비와 흙막이 공사비, 친환경주택건설비용 등 택지와 건축 가산비에 대한 적정성 여부를 심도있게 검토하겠다고 덧붙혔습니다.
