‘Come shop at Dongmun Traditional Market!’
Campaign being run through October 20

In an attempt to boost business at its largest traditional market, Jeju City is running a campaign through October 20th to attract domestic and international tourists.

The city began the campaign Friday at (동문) Dongmun Traditional Market and the nearby Jungang Underground Shopping Mall.The Jeju office of the Korea Tourism Organization, the Jeju Provincial Tourism Association, and the (동문) Dongmun Traditional Market Merchants Association are also working on the initiative.

Shoppers who spend at least 20,000 won at the market or the underground mall will be given a Jeju Gift Certificate worth 5,000 won. That can be used at the market.

Souvenirs are also being handed out to Jeju Golden Bus City Tour passengers. That service is operated by the tourism association.

다음달 20일까지 전통시장 활성화 캠페인

국내외 관광객을 대상으로 한 전통시장 활성화 캠페인이 다음달 20일까지 진행됩니다.

제주시는 오늘(4일) 동문시장과 중앙로 지하상가 일대에서 한국관광공사 제주지사와 제주도관광협회, 동문시장 상인회 등과 제주관광 홍보와 전통시장 활성화 캠페인의 시작을 알렸습니다.

캠페인 기간 국내외 관광객들이 전통시장과 지하상가에서 2만원 이상 상품을 구입할 경우 제주사랑상품권 5천원권이 지급됩니다.

또 같은기간 황금시티투어버스를 이용하면 관광 기념품도 제공됩니다.
