Province, Community Chest of Korea to distribute \245m in gifts

The Chuseok holidays are right around the corner, and a number of campaigns are planned to make sure everyone can enjoy them this year.

The provincial government has designated a special period through September 25th. During that time, it will donate 75 million won in holiday items to over 100 social welfare facilities

The provincial government and the Jeju branch of the Community Chest of Korea are also distributing gifts worth a total of 170 million won to 3,400 low-income families and households in urgent need.

道, 추석 앞두고 나눔 활동 진행

제주특별자치도가 민족대명절 추석을 앞두고 어려운 이웃들을 위한 나눔 활동을 진행합니다.

제주도는 오는 25일까지를 어려운 이웃 위문 집중기간으로 정하고, 사회복지시설 100개소에 7천 500만원 상당의 위문품을 전달합니다.

또 사회복지공동모금회와 공동으로 제주도내 차상위계층과 긴급지원대상자 등 저소득 가정 3천 400여 가구에 1억 7천만원 상당의 추석 물품을 지원할 예정입니다.
