Fishing boat sank over the weekend in Chuja Island waters

The provincial government is working on recovering the fishing boat that capsized over the weekend in Chuja Island waters.

Following a request to do so by the Jeju office of the Ministry of Public Safety, local officials began Monday preparing to recover the Dolgorae.

The provincial government will pay for the operation, but it will then bill the boat owner at a later date.

The province will first choose a salvage firm and then have the vessel pulled ashore by the end of the month.

제주특별자치도가 추자 해상에서 전복된 돌고래호를 인양합니다.

제주도는 어제(7일) 전복된 돌고래호에 대한 제주 해경의 인양 요청에 따라 어선 인양 작업에 들어갔습니다.

제주도는 돌고래호 인양을 위한 행정대집행을 진행한 뒤 관련 비용은 어선 소유주에게 청구할 계획입니다.

제주도는 조만간 인양 업체를 선정해 빠르면 이 달 안으로 돌고래호를 인양할 예정입니다.
