Government Employees Pension Service relocates to Seogwipo
240 working at new Jeju Innocity location

The Government Employees Pension Service has moved to and begun operations in the island's “innovation city” in Seogwipo.

The office is responsible for pension service planning and research, the operation of welfare facilities, and housing support for public workers.

Executives say the office will give back to the local community by hiring employees from the island, making social contributions, and purchasing local products.

About 240 people are currently working in the service’s new seven-floor building.

공무원연금공단이 서귀포 혁신도시로 이전을 완료하고 본격적인 업무에 들어갔습니다.

연금공단은 제주에서 연금서비스 기획과 제도 연구, 복지시설 운영, 주택사업 등을 수행할 계획입니다.

이와함께 제주지역과의 공생을 위해 지역인재를 채용하고 사회공헌 활동,
중소기업 제품 구매도 추진하기로 했습니다.

연금공단의 사옥은 지상 7층 규모로 신축됐으며 제주로 이전해 온 240여 명이 근무하게 됩니다.
