More food poisoning cases in September than July-August
Despite the cool temperatures, however, the sun’s rays are still very strong in early fall, and can easily cause food to spoil. Food and Drug Safety experts say that more patients nationwide suffer from food poisoning in September than in the summer months of July and August.
Food poisoning can occur in large numbers when groups share the same food. On Friday, Sep. 11 some 30 students on a school trip from Daegu were admitted to hospital after they all showed symptoms of food poisoning.

Instead of eating raw food, it’s best to eat cooked food. And if more than two people show symptoms of food poisoning from eating the same food, it’s mandatory that you report the case to the Health Center.
