Free meals during Chuseok holidays
Lunches for children at risk for not getting enough to eat

Children who are at-risk for not getting enough to eat will be given free meals during the Chuseok holidays.

The provincial government says more than 7,630 children will receive the meals during the period when school cafeterias are closed.

The province has organized a collaborative system between local children's centers, lunch providers, women’s societies, and municipal governments to make sure the kids get full meals.

제주특별자치도가 추석연휴기간 동안 결식아동들을 위한 맞춤형 급식지원을 실시합니다.

제주도는 아동급식 지원 대상자 7천 630여 명에 대해 기존 급식이 이뤄지지 않는 추석 연휴동안 특별 지원을 진행한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 지역아동센터와 도시락지원업체, 읍면동 부녀회 등 각 행정시에 맞게 지원 체계를 구축하고, 중식과 부식 등을 제공합니다.
