Free parking over Chuseok holidays

Paid public parking lots will be free over the upcoming Chuseok holidays.

According to the Jeju City municipal government, anyone on Jeju will be able to park in 15 municipal lots for free between September 25th and the 29th. They include the lots at Dongmun Traditional Market and the Shin Jeju Rotary.

However, parking will not be free at Jeju International Airport, as authorities expect it to be very crowded over the long weekend.

The Jeil Public Parking Garage will be closed for the duration of the holidays out of safety concerns.

제주시가 추석을 맞아 오는 25일부터 29일까지 공영주차장을 무료 개방합니다.

무료 개방되는 주차장은 제주시청과 동문재래시장과 동문 공설시장, 탑동, 신제주 등 15곳입니다.

다만 제주공항 입구 주차장은 공항 이용객 급증에 따른 혼잡을 우려해 현행대로 유로로 운영됩니다.

또 기계식 주차장인 제일공영주차빌딩은 연휴기간엔 운형되지 않습니다.
