Preparations for medical care over Chuseok holidays
Seven hospitals to remain open around the clock

The provincial government has put a plan into action to ensure people who need medical treatment over the Chuseok holidays can get it.

According to the province, seven hospitals will be open around the clock from Saturday through Tuesday. That list includes Jeju National University Hospital and Seogwipo Medical Center.

The island’s six major public health centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The province has also designated a number of local clinics and pharmacies to open over the holidays.

추석 연휴 24시간 비상진료체계 가동

오는 26일부터 시작되는 추석연휴기간에 비상진료체계가 운영됩니다.

제주도특별자치도에 따르면, 모레(26일)부터 나흘동안 제주대학교병원과 서귀포의료원 등 7개 응급의료기관은 24시간 비상진료체계를 운영합니다.

또 6개 보건소는 연휴 4일동안 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 정상 진료합니다.

이와 함께 당직 의료기관과 휴일지킴이 약국을 지정해 도민들의 의료이용 불편을 최소화할 계획입니다.
