1st Asia-Pacific W Crisis Management Forum wraps up
Focus on women and leadership in business

A forum dedicated to the harmonization of male and female leadership in business administration wrapped up recently on the island. The 1st Asia-Pacific W Crisis Management Forum Jeju was held on September 25th at the Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel in Jeju City.

The forum was sponsored by the Women’s News, the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies and the United States Embassy in Korea and organized by the Women and Family Research Institute. It included a lecture by Dr. Cynthia Emrich, vice president of the Catalyst Research Center, as well as a debate session.

During the lecture, Dr. Emrich cited various examples of how women are effective in business crisis management and highlighted how businesses and organizations should actively promote women in the development of their leadership potential.

이 자리에서 엠리치 박사는 여성 특유의 재능이
기업의 위기 경영에 효과적이라는 것을 다양한 사례를 통해 소개하며
기업과 조직은 여성의 리더십 개발을 적극 지지해야 한다고 강조했습니다.
