New international terminal opens to domestic ferries
Cruise ships to begin using facility in November

Operations have really begun at the new Jeju International Passenger Terminal, as it is now being used for domestic ferry sailings.

This comes after the provincial government closed the former terminal, which had been used for almost 30 years. The new one opened Thursday for passenger ferries going between Jeju and Wando, Chuja, and Mokpo.

International cruise ships will begin using the facility in November after customs, immigration, quarantine, and harbor security systems are in place.


제주항 국제여객터미널 '국내선' 개장

제주항 국제여객터미널이 국내선 개장을 시작으로 본격 운영에 들어갔습니다.

제주특별자치도는 30년 가까이 운영됐던 옛 제주항 국제여객터미널을 폐쇄하고 오늘(1일)부터 새로 지어진 여객터미널 내에 완도와 추자, 목포 노선 여객선이 입출항 하는 국내선 터미널을 개장했습니다.

한편 여객터미널 크루즈 국제선은 세관과 출입국관리, 검역,
항만보안시스템이 완료되는 11월 쯤 개장할 예정입니다.
