Local consumer prices fall 0.3% in September
Had been climbing until last month

Consumer prices in Jeju had been on the increase, but they fell slightly last month.

According to the Jeju branch of the Honam Regional Statistics Office,
Jeju’s consumer price index in September was 109.09. That’s 0.3 percent lower than in August.

Prices for industrial products fell by 0.5 percent due to lower oil prices. In the service sector, prices were down 0.2 percent.

Meanwhile, the consumer price index for living necessities was 107.31. That figure has been falling since July, but it now appears to be stabilizing.


지난달 도내 소비자물가 0.3% 하락

상승세를 이어가던 제주지역 소비자 물가가 소폭 하락했습니다.

호남지방통계청 제주사무소에 따르면 지난달 제주지역 소비자물가지수는 109.09로
전달보다 0.3퍼센트 하락했습니다.

상품별로 살펴보면 유가인하로 인한 공업제품 가격이 전달보다 0.5퍼센트,
서비스 부문은 0.2퍼센트 떨어졌습니다.

체감물가를 반영하는 생활물가지수는 107.31로 지난 7월부터 하락하며
안정세를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났습니다.
