New odor regulations announced
Will be regulated island-wide

The provincial government is giving advance notice through October 15th of a new ordinance designed to more strictly enforce odor emissions.

According to current law, odors up to a score of 15 are allowed on the scale used to measure them. That limit will be dropped to 10. The new regulations also expand the scope of the regulations to include the entire island, rather than just industrial complexes and other limited areas, as is the case now.

오는 15일까지 입법예고 했습니다.

주요내용을 보면 악취방지법에서는 허용기준을 15이하로 규정됐지만
이번 조례에서 10이하로 강화했고, 단속대상 역시 산업단지나 공업단지와 같은
제한된 구역을 벗어나 제주 전역으로 확대하는 내용을 담고 있습니다.
