Census begins November 1
15 days of interviews

Officials take a census every five years, and the next one will be from November first to the 15th.

Some 600 civil servants and census takers will survey households across Jeju. In their interviews, they will collect information in 52 categories, including residents’ gender, housing type, and economic activity.

To aid with the data collection process, online surveys will be conducted from October 24th to the 31st.


다음달 1일부터 인구주택 총조사 실시

인구와 가구, 주택 등을 파악하기 위한 인구 주택 총조사가 다음달 1일부터 15일까지 보름동안 실시됩니다.

5년마다 실시되는 이번 조사에는 공무원과 조사요원 등 600여 명이 나서 면접 조사방식으로 이뤄집니다.

조사는 제주에 거주하는 모든 내·외국인의 인구와 주택을 대상으로 성별과 주택종류, 경제활동 등 52개 항목에 대해 실시됩니다.

또 원활한 조사를 위해 오는 24일부터 31일까지 인터넷 조사도 진행될 예정입니다.
