US universities visit KIS Jeju to attract prospective students
Dozens of schools sending admissions officers this semester

Admissions officers from a number of US universities have been visiting the Jeju Global Education City recently and giving admissions presentations for the next academic year.

According to Korea International School Jeju, five American universities, including the prestigious Parsons School of Design, held informational sessions at KIS last month. More briefings are scheduled for this month, from schools such as Boston University, Dartmouth, Purdue, and the University of Washington. In all, representatives from about 30 schools will be visiting KIS this semester.

About 50 students will be in KIS Jeju’s first graduating class next year.


美대학, 신입생 모집 위해 국제학교 방문

미국 대학들이 내년 신입생 모집 시즌을 맞아 우수학생 유치를 위해
제주영어교육도시내 국제학교를 잇따라 방문하고 있습니다.

KIS 한국국제학교에 따르면, 지난달 미국 디자인 명문대인
파슨즈 스쿨 등 대학 5군데가 학교를 찾아 입시설명회를 가졌습니다.

이달 들어서도 보스턴대와 다트머스, 퍼듀대와 워싱턴 등
대학 30여 군데다 개별 또는 공동으로 설명회를 개최하고 있습니다.

한편 KIS 한국국제학교는 개교 이후 내년 처음으로 고교 졸업생
50명을 배출합니다.
