International terminal at Jeju Port opens Wednesday
15 immigration checkpoints

Jeju Port’s new international terminal will be completely operational on Wednesday.

Major construction on the terminal was finished in July. Since then, passengers have had to go through immigration onboard their ships because immigration checkpoints had not yet been set up in the terminal.

Analysts say tourists will now be able to get through immigration quickly because the new facility has 15 checkpoints.

제주항 국제여객터미널 내 국내선에 이어 국제선 터미널이 모레(21일)부터 공식 개장합니다.

제주특별자치도는 지난 7월 준공된 국제여객터미널에 대해
관계기관과 함께 최신형 입국심사대 15기 설치를 마무리했습니다.

이에 따라 그동안 선상에서 이뤄졌던 간이 출입국 심사가
터미널에서 정상적으로 시행할 수 있게 됐습니다.
