KCON to be held in Jeju November 6, 7
‘Korean Wave’ convention at Jeju Sports Complex

Jeju will host its first international “Korean Wave” convention November 6th and 7th when KCON 2015 comes to the Jeju Sports Complex.

Organizers aim to bring Korean pop culture to international audiences. The event will include a K-pop concert as well as a dance class and an exhibition of pop culture items. A local flare will also be added in the form of traditional Jeju food tastings and Jeju village life experience programs.

This will be the first time KCON will be held in South Korea. Previous conventions have been held in the United States and Japan.


다음달 6·7일, 세계한류페스티벌 'KCON'

세계한류페스티벌 'KCON(케이콘)'이 다음달 6일부터 7일까지 이틀동안
제주종합경기장 일대에서 열립니다.

제주특별자치도와 제주관광공사가 마련한 이번 행사는
K-POP콘서트와 댄스배우기 등 한류문화와 함께 한국 기업 제품을 알리기 위한
다양한 전시 프로그램으로 진행됩니다.

또 제주전통음식과 마을체험 등 제주 문화 체험부스도 함께 운영됩니다.

'케이콘'은 한국의 문화와 식품, 정보기술 등을 세계에 알리기 위한 한국문화 페스티벌로 그동안 일본과 미국 등 해외에서 개최됐으며,
국내에서는 열리는 것은 이번이 처음입니다.
