Yoo Hong-joon named honorary director of Chusa Memorial Hall
Former director of Cultural Heritage Administration

Yoo Hong-joon (유홍준), who is a former director of the Cultural Heritage Administration and a professor at Myongji University, has been appointed as the honorary director of the Jeju Chusa Memorial Hall in Seogwipo.

Dedicated to the artist and scholar Chusa Kim Jeong-hui, who lived from 1786 to 1856, the memorial hall opened in 2010. At that time, Yoo donated 17 original Chusa artworks. Now he will be taking up the position as honorary director and advisor for the famed art pieces.

유홍준 전 문화재청장이 서귀포시 제주추사관 명예관장으로 위촉됐습니다.
서귀포시는 유홍준 명지대 석좌교수를 제주추사관 명예관장으로 위촉했다고 밝혔습니다.

유홍준 명예관장은 제주추사관 건립 당시 추사 작품 17점을 기증했는데
앞으로 추사관 홍보를 하게 됩니다.

또한 추사관 전시 작품을 구입할 때나
전시 기획 단계에서 자문 역할도 수행하게 됩니다.
