Province seeks ideas on how to use old JNU Hospital building

The provincial government is looking for innovative ideas on how to utilize the old Jeju National University Hospital building.

Tentatively named the Jeju Culture and Arts Center, the building needs a new name and purpose. Officials also plan to collect photos and personal experiences related to the old hospital building and turn those stories into art.

To submit ideas on how to give the old building new life, you can download the application form at the Jeju Culture & Art Foundation website. Submissions are being accepted through June 2016.


道, 옛 제주대병원 활용방안·건물명 공모

제주특별자치도가 옛 제주대학교병원 건물을 활용하기 위한 아이디어를 공개 모집합니다.

공모 대상은 가칭 제주종합문화예술센터로 돼 있는 건물 이름과
앞으로 이 곳에서 진행될 프로그램에 대한 실행방안 등입니다.

이와함께 옛 제주대병원과 원도심에 대한 이야기나 사진 등의 자료도 수집해 예술작품으로 만든다는 계획입니다.

이번 공모는 내년 6월까지 진행되며 제주도나 문화예술재단 홈페이지에서 양식을 내려받아 제출하면 됩니다.
