Jeju Outer Pier parking lot to become paid parking zone
First hour free, \300-400 for each additional hour

The provincial office has decided to turn the Jeju Outer Pier parking zone into a paid parking area.

Officials say they’re making the change because too many cars are parked there for extended periods and/or overnight.

Drivers will have to begin paying next month. Parking will still be free for the first hour, but 300 won will be charged for every additional hour for passenger vehicles. Larger vehicles will have to pay 400 won per additional hour.

제주특별자치도가 제주외항 주차장을 유료화 합니다.

제주도는 그동안 무료로 운영됐던 제주외항 주차장이
야간 밤샘 주차와 무단 장기 주차 차량들로 혼잡을 빚으면서
다음달부터 전면 유료로 전환할 계획입니다.

주차장 이용은 최초 1시간은 무료이며 1시간을 초과하면 10분 당 소형 차량은 300원,
대형차량은 400원의 요금이 부과됩니다.
