Outdoor-grown mandarin prices tumble
Average: \9,400 for 10-kg box

Prices for this year’s outdoor-grown mandarin oranges have remained below 10,000 won for two days in a row.

According to the Citrus Marketing & Shipping Association, the average wholesale price for a ten-kilogram box fell to between 9,300 and 9,400 won at Seoul’s Garak Market.

In worse news for growers, the minimum price for a box has been stuck at just 2,500 won.

9천 400원을 기록한 어제에 이어 이틀 연속 만원 아래로
떨어졌습니다.

특히 10kg 감귤 한 상자 평균 최저가격은
어제에 이어 오늘도 2천 500원 선에 머물며
경매시장에서 고전하고 있습니다.
