Surge in visitors to Jeolmul Natural Recreation Forest
Entrance fee revenue up 7.3%

Officials had hoped to collect one billion won in entrance fees this year at Jeju City’s Jeolmul Natural Recreation Forest, but they’ve already exceeded that target.

According to the forest management office, more than 545,000 people have visited so far this year, which is 14 percent more than at this point last year. Entrance fee revenue is up 7.3 percent.

In all of last year, 547,000 people visited the forest. The management office collected roughly 1.1 billion won in entrance fees.

절물자연휴양림 인기 입장료 수입 목표 초과

제주시 절물자연휴양림이 인기를 끌면서 입장료 수입이 올해 목표치인 10억원을 넘어섰습니다.

제주시 절물생태관리사무소에 따르면 지난달 28일을 기준으로 방문객 수는 54만 5천명, 수입액이 10억 150여 만원을 기록했습니다. 이는 지난해 같은기간 보다 입장객은 14%, 수입액은 7.3% 증가한 수치입니다.

절물자연휴양림은 지난해 54만 7천명이 입장해 10억8천600만원의 입장료 수입을 올렸습니다.
