Chuja-do Yellow Corvina Festival this weekend

The 8th Chuja-do Yellow Corvina Festival will be this Saturday and Sunday on the small island between Jeju and the mainland.

The two days of traditional foods and cultural activities are being sponsored by the Chuja-myeon Festival Promotion Committee.

Visitors will of course be able to try some of the fish on which the festival is based, as well as enjoy traditional pastimes, family fishing events, and walks along Chuja’s Olle Trail.

In order to make sure everyone who wants to can make it to the festival, the organizing committee is increasing the number of sailings between Jeju and Chuja by the Queenstar 2 ferry for the duration of the event.


제8회 추차도 참굴비 축제 7~8일 열려

제8회 추자도 참굴비 대축제가 오는 7일과 8일 이틀동안 추자면 일원에서 열립니다.

추자면축제추진위원회가 마련한 이번 축제는
전통음식과 전통문화 체험 등 다양한 프로그램이 진행됩니다.

또 참굴비 시식회와 굴비엮기, 가족낚시, 추자 올레길 탐방 등
다채로운 체험 행사가 마련됩니다.

한편 축제기간 추자도와 제주를 오가는 정기 여객선인 퀸스타2호는
하루 2회로 증편 운항합니다.
