National Assembly agrees to \6.1b in funding for Jeju projects
Includes \3.5b for establishment of traffic broadcasting system

One of the National Assembly’s standing committees has passed a budget proposal that includes the establishment of a traffic broadcasting system in Jeju and further development of the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park.

Lawmaker (강창일) Kang Chang-il of the New Politics Alliance for Democracy said Monday that the Security and Public Administration Committee agreed to 6.1 billion won in funding for Jeju-related projects in the 2016 national budget.

Three-point-five billion won is earmarked for the creation of the traffic broadcasting system, 1.6 billion is set aside for the peace park, and another one billion won will go to the Jeju April 3rd Peace Foundation.


제주교통방송 설립 예산 35억 국회 상임위 통과

제주교통방송 설립과 4.3평화공원 조성사업 등 제주 관련 예산이 국회 상임위원회를 통과했습니다.

새정치민주연합 강창일 의원은 오늘(9일) 열린 국회 안전행정위원회 전체회의에서 제주 관련 예산 61억 원이 내년 예산에 반영됐다고 밝혔습니다.

사업별로는 제주교통방송 건립사업으로 방송장비 구축과 시설 임대, 송신탑 구축 등에 35억 원이 편성됐습니다.

또 4.3평화공원 3단계 조성사업비 16억 원과 4.3평화재단 출연금 10억 원도 반영됐습니다.
