Officials have announced their decision to build a second airport in Jeju, in Sinsan-ri, Seogwipo. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2025. The announcement comes amid concerns that the existing airport will be unable to accommodate the continually increasing number of passengers that use it every year.

OECD cuts S. Korea’s growth outlook to 2.7%
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on Monday downgraded South Korea's 2015 economic growth outlook due to weak domestic consumption and negative export growth. The OECD says the Korean GDP will likely grow 2.7 percent this year.
