Land sales restricted in Seongsan after airport announcement
Government permission needed for transactions for next 3 years

Following Tuesday’s announcement that a second airport will be built in (성산읍) Seongsan-eup, the area has been designated a Land Transaction Permission Zone in order to prevent real estate speculation.

The provincial government said Tuesday that the designation covers all 107.6 square kilometers of land in (성산읍) Seongsan-eup, including the chosen site for the new airport in (신산리) Sinsan-ri.

Local government approval is required when buying and selling land in a Land Transaction Permission Zone.

The designation will come into force on November 15th, and it will remain in effect for the next three years.

제2공항 부지 '성산읍' 토지거래허가구역 지정

제2공항이 들어설 성산읍 일대가 투기 방지를 위해 토지거래허가구역으로 지정됐습니다.

제주특별자치도는 오늘(10일) 도시계획심의위원회를 열고 제2공항 부지인 온평과 신산리을 비롯해 성산읍 전체 면적 107.6제곱키로미터를 토지거래허가구역으로 지정 고시했습니다.

토지거래허가구역에서 토지를 사고 팔때에는 정당한 사유와 증빙서류를 갖춰야 하며 행정시에 신고해서 승인을 받아야 합니다.

성산읍 일대 토지거래허가구역은 15일부터 효력이 생기며 앞으로 3년 동안 유지됩니다.
