Jeju to host 7 games in 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup
First local match will be May 21, 2017

The Korea Football Association on Tuesday announced that Jeju will host seven games in the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

The first of the matches will be held at the Jeju World Cup Stadium on May 21st, 2017. The island will host games between members of Group C all the way up to the Round of 16.

South Korea has been placed in Group A, where it and currently ranks third in the group. Should the national team make it to the Round of 16, the game it will play will be held at the Jeju World Cup Stadium.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 will be played from May 20th to June 11th in six cities nationwide. Jeonju and Suwon will host the opening and final games.

2017 U-20 월드컵, 제주서 7경기 열려

오는 2017년 열리는 20살 이하 월드컵 대회와 관련해 제주에서는 모두 7경기가 치러질 예정입니다.

대한축구협회가 발표한 U-20 월드컵 일정에 따르면 2017년 5월 21일 C조 조별리그를 시작으로 16강전까지 모두 7경기가 제주월드컵경기장에서 열립니다.

특히 A조에 속한 우리나라가 조 3위로 16강에 오를 경우 제주에서 16강전을 치르게 됩니다. U-20 월드컵은 오는 2017년 5월 20일부터 6월 11일까지 열리며 개막전은 전주에서 결승전은 수원에서 각각 열립니다.
