More residential construction permits being issued
As of October, more than double compared to same period in 2014

Local officials are issuing a lot more building permits for new housing.

According to the latest report by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport... as of October, the number of permits granted for the construction of new housing units in Jeju surpassed 14,300. That’s more than double the number from the corresponding period last year, and that’s the second highest growth in the country, trailing only Incheon.

Work on some 12,000 new housing units is already complete, and that’s 47 percent more than last year.

도내 주택 건설 인허가 꾸준히 증가

제주지역 주택 건설 인허가 실적이 꾸준히 증가하는 것으로 나타났습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 올들어 지난달까지 인허가를 받은 주택은 1만 4천300여 가구로 지난해 같은 기간 6천600여 가구보다 2배 이상 증가했습니다.

이같은 증가율은 전국에서 인천에 이어 두번째 높은 것 입니다.

이와 함께 주택 착공 실적도 1만2천여 가구를 기록하며 지난해보다 47% 늘었습니다.
