Response to Seoul’s decision to delay abolishment of bar exam

Students at Jeju National University Law School say they will drop out en masse in response to the national government’s announcement that it will delay the abolishment of the existing bar exam for the next four years.

JNU Law School students held an emergency meeting on Friday and agreed to boycott all classes and exams in protest against the government announcement.

As a first step, they are expected to boycott all final exams, which begin this week.

정부의 사법시험 유예보치에 반발해 제주대 로스쿨 학생들이 전원 자퇴를 결의했습니다.

제주대에 따르면 법학전문대학원 학생회는 오늘(4일) 긴급임시총회를 열고 법무부가 사법시험 존치를 4년간 유예하겠다는 발표에 대한 반발로 전원사퇴서를 작성하고 모든 학사일정을 거부하기로 의결했다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 로스쿨 학생들은 다음주부터 시작되는 제주대 학기말 시험에 응시하지 않을 가능성이 높아졌습니다.
