Three-year extension for tax incentives
Jeju Science Park and investment promotion zones

National authorities have extended for three years special tax provisions for the Jeju Science Park and investment promotion zones.

According to lawmaker Kim Woo-nam, the National Assembly decided December 2nd to extend the tax incentives in Jeju from the end of 2015 to the end of 2018.

This is expected to save companies in those areas some 120 billion won, including 43 billion won in corporate taxes and nearly 37 billion in individual consumption tax payments.

첨단과기단지·투자진흥지구 과세특례 연장

첨단과학기술단지와 투자진흥지구 등에 대한 과세특례가 3년 연장됐습니다.

국회 농림축산식품해양수산위원회 김우남 위원장에 따르면 국회가 지난 2일 최종 의결한 조세특례제한법 개정안 수정안에 제주지역 과세특례 연장안이 포함됐습니다.

이에따라 첨단과학기술단지 입주기업과 투자진흥지구 지정을 받은 사업장에 대한 과세특례는 당초 올해 말에서 2018년까지 3년 연장됩니다.

이로인한 세제감면 규모만 법인세 430억 개별소비세 368억 등 1천 200억 원에 이를 것으로 추정됩니다.
