Yusuam named Korea’s best farm village to visit in winter
Agriculture ministry chooses local community over 9 others

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has named the village of (유수암) Yusuam in Aewol-eup, Jeju City Korea’s best farm village to visit in the winter.

(유수암) Yusuam beat out nine other locations across the nation, including (가평) Gapyeong in Gyeonggi-do Province and (인제) Inje in Gangwon-do Province.

The agriculture ministry says it chose Yusuam for its easy accessibility and exceptional natural environment as well as the village experience programs it offers the public, like picking mandarin oranges and making mandarin jam.

유수암, '겨울 느끼기에 좋은 농촌마을'

제주시 애월읍 유수암 마을이 겨울을 느끼기에 좋은 농촌체험휴양마을로 선정됐습니다.

농림축산식품부는 '겨울을 느끼기에 좋은 농촌체험휴양마을' 공모를 통해
유수암 마을을 비롯한 경기도 가평과 강원 인제 등 전국의 10군데를 선정해 발표했습니다.

유수암 마을의 경우 접근성이 우수하고 천혜의 자연환경을 갖추고 있으며,
감귤수확과 귤쨈 만들기 체험을 할 수 있다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받았습니다.
