Hanjin to distribute Samdasoo water for next 3 years
JPDC signs \100b deal, increases number of local ports used

Hanjin has been chosen to become the distributor of Jeju Samdasoo bottled water for the next three years.

The Jeju Provincial Development Corporation (JPDC) made the announcement Thursday. It signed the 100 billion won deal after giving Hanjin priority, in its negotiations last month, over who would become Samdasoo’s new transport and logistics company.

The condition laid out by JPDC in selecting the new distributor was to increase distribution across different ports on the island.

Hanjin proposed distributing 40 percent of the supplies through Seogwipo Port, 20 percent through Seongsan Port and 10 percent through Hallim Port. Most of the shipments currently pass through Jeju Port.

한진이 앞으로 3년간 제주삼다수의 운송을 담당할 물류운영사업을 맡게됐습니다.

제주도개발공사는 지난 14일 우선협상대상자로 선정된
주식회사 한진과 천억원대 규모의 물류운영사업 본계약을 체결했다고
밝혔습니다.

개발공사는 이번 물류운영사업자를 선정하면서 입찰조건으로 지역항 물량확대를 내걸었고 한진측은 삼다수의 반출 물량 비율을 서귀포항 40%, 성산포항 20%, 한림항 10%로
높인다는 조건을 내건바 있습니다.
