Aggregate market value of Jeju apartments tops \5t

According to new data, the aggregate market value of apartments in Jeju has topped five trillion won.

A report released by the research center of Real Estate 114, an affiliate of the Mirae Asset Group, shows that as of the end of 2015… the total market value of Jeju’s 24,700 apartment units was 5.18 trillion won. That’s 370 billion higher than the 4.81 trillion recorded a year earlier.

Prices of apartments in Jeju have continued to rise over the years. In 2007, the total market value surpassed two trillion won for the first time. The three-trillion milestone was reached in 2012, four trillion in 2014, and now five trillion won last year.

지난 2014년말 4조8천100억원보다 3천700억원이 늘면서 5조원을 넘어섰습니다. 제주지역 아파트 시가총액은 지난 2007년 2조500여 억원으로 2조원 시대를 연 뒤 2012년 3조원, 2014년 4조원을 넘어선데 이어 지난해 5조원 시대에 진입했습니다.
