KCTV begins 2016 with ceremony
Chairman outlines plans and goals for the company this year

KCTV started the new year with a special ceremony on Monday.

Chairman Gong Seong-yong urged all employees to work together as one while striving to become the best at their individual jobs. He also stressed the importance of providing both a diverse range of services for Jeju residents and differentiated coverage of the upcoming legislative elections.

KCTV will focus on seven main projects in 2016, which include leading the Smartopia Jeju initiative, expanding local broadcasting, providing customized content, protecting Jeju’s tangible and intangible cultural assets, and maximizing Jeju’s environmental value.
