JNU Hospital, Halla Hospital ‘top in lung cancer treatment’
Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service evaluated 117 hospitals

Following news earlier this week that Jeju National University Hospital and Cheju Halla General Hospital received first class ratings for stomach cancer treatment… the two facilities have now also received top ratings for lung cancer treatment.

The Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service conducted an evaluation of medical staff, surgical precision, and radiation treatment at 117 hospitals nationwide that offer lung cancer operations. For Jeju, JNU Hospital and Halla Hospital came out on top.

Halla Hospital is said to have scored full marks in almost all categories.

The average score for all medical centers evaluated was 95 and the average score for all general hospitals was 92.

제주대학교병원과 한라병원이 위암에 이어 폐암 적정성 평가에서도 1등급을 받았습니다.

건강보험심사평가원이 전국 117개 의료기관을 대상으로
전문인력 구성과 수술, 방사선치료 등 폐암 적정성 평가를 실시한 결과
제주에서는 제주대병원과 한라병원을 1등급으로 분류했습니다.

특히 한라병원은 대부분의 평가지표에서 만점을 획득한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

이번 평가에서 전체 의료기관 평균은 95점,
종합병원 평균은 92점으로 나타났습니다.
