The Jeju Camera Reporters Association will open a five-day news photography and video exhibition Sunday at the Jeju Culture and Art Center.

This year’s exhibition marks the 14th of its kind and over 30 cameramen and women from seven media outlets, including KCTV, will be taking part.

On display will be images of some of Jeju’s top news stories from 2015, such as the sinking of the Dolgorae, the completion of the Jeju Naval Base, and fears of the MERS outbreak. Some 100 news footage videos will also be on display.

Meanwhile, an award will be presented to provincial council member Kim Gyeong-hak at the Monday opening ceremony - the association chose him as the lawmaker of the year.

The exhibition ends on Thursday.

제주카메라기자회 사진·영상전 17~21일 개최

지난 한 해 제주 지역 주요 이슈를 영상과 사진으로 담아낸 제주카메라기자회 보도사진영상전이 오는 17일부터 21일까지 제주도문예회관 제1전시실에서 열립니다.

올해로 14회째를 맞는 이번 전시회에는 KCTV제주방송을 비롯해 도내 언론사 7곳에서 활동하고 있는 카메라기자 30여 명이 참여합니다.

보도사진 영상전에는 돌고래호 참사와 해군기지 완공, 메르스 피해 등 지난해 제주에서 일어났던 주요 이슈들을 생생하게 담아낸 보도사진과 영상물 100여 점이 전시됩니다.

18일 오전에 열리는 개막식에서는 제주카메라기자회 회원들이 올해의 의원으로 선정한더불어민주당 김경학 의원에 대한 시상식도 이뤄집니다.
